Welcome to Lydia & Co. Boutique (“Lydia & Co.”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms of Service apply when you visit or buy from lydiacoboutique.com (the “Site”). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

1. About us

Lydia & Co. is an Auckland-based boutique offering handcrafted press-on nails and related nail accessories. You can contact us through our Contact Us page or visit us at 17A Porana Road, Wairau Valley, Auckland 0632, New Zealand.

2. Our products

Our press-on nail sets are handmade. Small variations in colour, finish, design and placement may occur between sets and from what you see on screen. These variations are part of the handcrafted nature of our products and do not affect their intended quality.

Product images, descriptions, availability and prices are provided as accurately as we can, but we may correct errors or update information at any time. Colours may appear differently depending on your screen and lighting.

3. Choosing your set and size

Please use the size chart on each product page and review your selection carefully before ordering. Our products are ready-to-wear and we do not currently offer general customisation. If you are unsure, please contact us before placing your order.

4. Safe use and nail care

Follow the application and removal instructions supplied with your set. Do not force, pull or peel nails off, as this may damage your natural nails. Stop using the product if you experience irritation, discomfort or an allergic reaction, and seek medical advice where appropriate.

Nail products, glue and small components should be kept out of reach of children. Do not use products on broken, infected or irritated skin. Our products are for external cosmetic use only.

5. Orders and acceptance

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected. Your order is accepted when we dispatch it. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch where a product is unavailable, there is a pricing or listing error, payment cannot be authorised, or we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item(s).

6. Pricing and payment

Prices are shown in the currency selected on the Site. Shipping charges are shown at checkout before you complete your purchase. Payment must be authorised before an order can be processed. We may change prices or offers at any time; changes will not affect an order already accepted.

7. Shipping and delivery

We currently ship within New Zealand and to Australia. Dispatch and delivery estimates are guides only and may vary due to carrier delays, customs or events outside our control. Please provide a complete and accurate delivery address. See our Shipping Policy for current shipping information.

8. Returns, exchanges and faulty products

For hygiene reasons, we may be unable to accept returns of opened or used nail products except where required by law. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or faulty, please contact us promptly with your order number and clear photos so we can help.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under applicable consumer law, including the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. For more information, please see our Returns & Exchange Policy.

9. Promotions and gift cards

Promotions are subject to the specific terms displayed with the offer and may be changed, withdrawn or limited while stock lasts. Unless stated otherwise, offers cannot be combined, exchanged for cash or applied to previous orders.

10. Intellectual property

The Site and its content—including our name, logos, photographs, product designs, copy and graphics—are owned by or licensed to Lydia & Co. You may not copy, reproduce, sell, distribute or commercially use this content without our prior written permission.

11. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Site, interfere with its security or operation, submit false information, attempt unauthorised access, or use the Site for any unlawful purpose.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect personal information when you use the Site or place an order.

13. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including your rights under consumer law.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. The Terms in force when you place an order apply to that order.

15. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any dispute will be subject to the courts of New Zealand, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
